If you’re planning to travel to the Chelmsford CSCS Test Centre by car, the test centre is located near to the city centre of Chelmsford. Coming from the direction of the centre, cross the river via New London Road and find the test centre on the left hand side at number 51. The test centre is located inside Grosvenor House which is opposite the Job Centre.
There are no parking facilities at the Chelmsford CSCS Test Centre. The nearest parking facilities are a 5 minute walk away on Parkway, it costs £2.50 to park here for 2 hours. There is also parking at The Meadows on Baddow Road which is a 6 minute walk from the test centre, it costs £2.80 to park here for 2 hours.
There are several bus lines that stop near New London Road. These are: 10, 13, 13A, 14, 32, and 42. The nearest bus stop is outside the Job Centre on New London Road, which is a 1 minute walk from the test centre. Chelmsford Bus Station is also a 10 minute walk from the test centre.
The nearest train station to the test centre is Chelmsford Train Station which is located on Duke Street. This is 0.5 miles from the test centre and takes approximately 9 minutes to walk from here.
